Mentees

Mentee Eligibility Requirements

●  Be 13-17 years old

●  Must be male only  

●  Reside in the servicing areas

●  Demonstrate a desire to participate in the program and be willing to abide by all Mentors of Montgomery Mentoring Program policies and procedures  

●  Be able to obtain parental/guardian permission to participate in the program  

●  Agree to a one-year commitment to the program  

●  Commit to spending a minimum of one hour a week with the mentor

●  Complete the screening procedure and mentee applications

●  Attend all mentee orientations   

●  Must not be diagnosed with severe psychosis, abusing drugs or alcohol, or be a threat to self and/or others. Such persons will be referred to other agencies.
